Aegis Authenticator is a free, safe and open supply app to manage your 2-step verification tokens in your online providers.

Compatibility

Aegis supports the HOTP and TOTP algorithms. These two algorithms are industry-standard and extensively supported, making Aegis appropriate with hundreds of companies. Any internet service that supports Google Authenticator may even work with Aegis Authenticator.

Encryption and biometric unlock

All of your one-time passwords are saved in a vault. If you choose to set a password (highly recommended), the vault might be encrypted using strong cryptography. If somebody with malicious intent gets a hold of the vault file, it’s unimaginable for them to retrieve the contents with out understanding the password. Entering your password each time you need entry to a one-time password could be cumbersome. Backups
